Ian Davies MSc. MCIPS BA Hons. PGCE.Tutor and Centre Manager


Ian lectured at Abingdon and Witney College delivering CIPS courses for 12 years developing the centre into a Highly Commended CIPS provider. Before that he had a variety of management and buying roles. He has a Master's degree in Strategic Procurement and is a fully qualified teacher. He is experienced at delivering courses in the Public , Private and Third sectors.


Nassim Tahamtani MSc. MCIPS CELTA


"Once I had completed my Civil Engineering undergraduate studies, I worked as a public health engineer for two years in Leeds.

I then worked in London for five years as a self-employed franchisee of a retail catering business.

This was followed by 20 years’ experience in Thames Water Utilities.

I worked in many different operational functions during that time, with the last 10 years spent in procurement and contract management.

I left Thames Water in 2015 and, following the completion of my teacher training qualifications, I resumed my teaching career."




Martin Poulson AFA MBA MIFL Cert Ed Tutor and Quality manager


Martin  has a wealth of experience in the commercial world and in education, including strategic leadership and management roles in a global procurement company. He has a Master's degree in Business and is a fully qualified teacher. Martin's specialisms include Strategy, Management and Finance.



Grahame Ball FCIPS MSc.


A procurement and supply chain professional with extensive experience across geographies and industry sectors. Most latterly as CPO for a FTSE 250 where he was responsible for developing and delivering the full strategic sourcing capability across all direct and indirect categories and for managing the end to end service supply chain. Grahame is a business graduate, an MSc in Supply Chain Management from Cranfield and a Fellow and Congress member of CIPS.




Philippa Terry LLM (Cambridge)


Qualified with Slaughter & May before working as a Civil Litigation Solicitor in industry. Has taught Law at Ruskin College, Oxford for five years and been Module Leader for both Employment Law and Discrimination Law. Law and Governance, Risk and Ethics. Philippa teaches Advanced Contract Law for us.
